Kieran has treated the root of my problems, not just my symptoms, and made significant progress in my flexibility, range of motion and pain relief that I never considered possible. I thought finding a new massage therapist was going to take a while, but one session with Kieran it was evident that this was the knowledge and care I needed. He is encouraging, smart and a wonderful guide through this process. I'm very thankful Massage Grotto exists.

Serita is amazing! Her skills and knowledge are unparalleled. She is so caring, compassionate, and helpful. She helped relieve chronic neck and shoulder pain. Her strength is impressive and intentional. I feel very safe in her hands.

Have been working with James for about 6 months and he is one of the best practitioners I’ve met in SF. He took detailed notes on my first visit and knows exactly what I need to manage chronic pain. I am so grateful for his support. Thank you James and Massage Grotto.

I just had a 60 minute massage with Gabee. I’ve been working with a variety of PTs, yoga instructors, masseurs & masseuses, etc. over the past 5 or so years addressing issues in my shoulders and hips. Gabee quickly showed excellent understanding of my issues and did a great job tailoring the massage accordingly.

I've been here a few times and have seen Krissi, Kieran, and Felicia. All of them have been fabulous! They all have different styles but are all very professional and skilled at finding those spots and ironing them out, plus they all have amazing energy. Love how I feel when I'm here. Their fireplace is so cozy and their oils are very calming. They offer a teacher discount which makes this type of healing much more accessible too! Thank you Massage Grotto!
So far I’v had one massage here at the Richmond location from gabby and it was very good. I think the price is reasonable for what they provide and I am going back for another massage with gabby on Friday so excited ! The only thing is it’s a little confusing figuring which door to enter and entering the code. She used a nice Botanical Oil Enhancement to enhance the massage which was great and some places charge extra for that but it was complimentary here.

Had an amazing massage experience with Emily! She was attentive to my sore spots, making me feel completely renewed. The studio was serene and calming, adding to the relaxation. I highly recommend her services. Can't wait for my next session!

I've been going to Kieran for over 2 years because he's the only person who has been able to target my chronic pain and help alleviate it. As other reviewers have said, he's extremely knowledgeable of the body's fascia and able to connect a whole lifetime of injuries (and compensations for said injuries) to systematically work them out. Keep in mind this is body WORK and not massage: it's pain now for relief later.
Justin had great energy from the moment I walked in. Super positive and you could tell he was very experienced. His confidence and strength during the massage was excellent and I felt amazing afterward. I would definitely recommend getting body work from Justin and look forward to going back!
He is very kind, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He is good with communicating with his clients as well and making sure they know what to expect and how to prepare for a massage. Has a perfect pressure and he would modify that depends on the clients liking.I would definitely recommend him and would go back again!
Justin gives a great, professional massage. Try the lomi lomi style he learned in Hawai’i

Justin is hands down one of the best massage therapists I've ever experienced. Instead of applying one technique (swedish, deep tissue, sports massage), Justin incorporates many forms of massage therapy and tailors it to address areas of tension, knots, stress, etc. It was a healing experience and I'll definitely be back!
justin was very professional and polite, I have problems stemming from AS and his messages help elevate alot of tension and soreness that I build up during the day! I couldnt thank him enough for the outstanding work he does giving me a healthier happy life!!

I had a prenatal massage with Gabee today and she was absolutely phenomenal. They had a pregnancy pillow which was an absolute bonus! Gabee is amazing and helped address my pain from sciatica and general discomfort.

Gabee is an amazing massage therapist! She worked a miracle on my tight shoulder and, a couple days later, I think I had my first full night of sleep in a year! Gabee understood exactly what was going on and took her time to really work it out. She not only focused on my shoulder, but everything that was connected to pulling it so tight. She explained what was going on but gave me plenty of space to relax and enjoy. She's intuitive and very knowledgeable. I'm so grateful.

I scheduled a massage with Krisi and she was amazing! She accommodated my needs and was attentive to my tense shoulders. She even gave me further advice to help out with my shoulders which I appreciated. Thanks so much Krisi!!

Had an absolutely amazing time with Gabby during my couples massage. Really hit the parts that were tight and made sure to avoid the injuries that i have! Thanks Gabby!

Kieran is knowledgeable and intuitive when it comes to massage. He understands the points of pain in my body and knows where to apply a mix of swedish, rolfing, and deep tissue massage that is specific to my body. Struggling with knee pain for months, it disappeared after a few sessions with Kieran. I feel so grateful to him

Justin is a highly talented massage therapist who is skilled in many types of massage, had a very nice aura and a great personality. I will definitely suggest him to my friends. I was their on a trip and I absolutely loved it.

Rejuvenating and well worth the money. I am an athlete and loved how Justin paid extra attention to my trouble areas. He made me feel like a brand new woman!
